“Wild One” celebrates the person who refuses to fit neatly into somebody else’s expectations. Hopeful. and Carly Ann Taylor give that independence a warm, open frame. The track balances freedom with affection. It admires the untamed spirit without trying to own it, which is exactly why the sentiment lands. The wild ones were never waiting for permission. They may, however, appreciate a good chorus.
