Lorez Alexandria makes “I’m Wishin” sound newly unearthed, even if the voice already knows exactly where to land. For a song hiding in a crate-digger favorite, it feels oddly right at the top of the stack.
The band keeps the frame spare: brushed drums, a soft bass pulse, and a piano line that leaves plenty of air around the vocal. Alexandria rides the groove with a smoky, close-mic poise that makes every phrase feel handwritten.
